I was in my local supermarket today and noticed that there were two different issues of Penny/Dell Variey Puzzles (can't remember which ones) that were spiral bound. I was wondering if this is something that is only temporary or if this is a permanent thing and plan on expanding to other puzzle titles?

I only do crosswords and do like to fold the book back to view to one page so a spiral binding would be great.

Oh, I haven't seen those Penny Press issues yet! I have noticed that "Official" is now making some of their variety puzzles with a spiral binding.

Now that you mention it Bernadette they may have been "Official". They were right next to the Penny/Dell so I just assumed it was them. Sorry to get anyone's hopes up. I will check again next time I'm at the store.

That's okay!

I made a point of picking up and leafing through the "Official" book because they used to publish a puzzle I liked called "Crosspatches" (similar to Kriss Krosses and Frameworks) but there were none in it so evidently they don't make them at all anymore.

You were right Bernadette! I checked today and they only had one issue left, but the spiral bound issue was indeed an "Official" publication. So sorry for the mix up and getting anyone's hopes up.
