I have copy of "Original Logic Problems No.73 -- Special Collector's Edition, Double Issue" circa September 1999, ISSN: 0899-0514 ... I've been lugging my way through this book since receiving it when I was about 14 -- only now have I picked it up again, getting into the tougher puzzles.

I think I may have found a mistake... #75, Clue #2:
"On Tuesday, practice began exactly [...] 1/2 hour earlier than the day where the workout lasted 8 hours."

The solution shows Tuesday beginning at 7:30 (my first indication that something was wrong -- I had come to the conclusion the 8hr time started at 7:30 ) anyway, the workout that started 1/2 hour later than Tue (according to solution) is 8:00=>4:30, lasting 8.5 hours. The 8-hour time occurred between 6:30=>2:30 -- not even close to the clue. Further investigating how logic could possibly reach this conclusion, I find after the first steps, the first mention of clue #2 states: "The 8 1/2 hr. day (2) " ... is this a simple typo in the clue? Does this sort of stuff happen often?

I haven't noticed any problems so far -- but is there any sort of addendum list for these old pubs?

Thank you for your posting. This puzzle does indeed contain an error, which was brought to our attention at the time. Clue 2 should end "...on the day the workout lasted exactly 8 1/2 hours (which isn't the day the team members ran seven miles)."
We apologize for this error. We received no other complaints about any puzzles in this issue.
Thanks again for posting.
