The poor wording of On The Run on page 61 leads to two equally valid answers, and I spent a bit of time wondering if this was meant to be trick question. You state that car B starts "from a point ten miles away" from car A, but you don't specify in which direction. If B starts east of A and the man, then they will all meet after six minutes, as your solution states. However, if B starts west of A and the man, none of them will ever meet. Words matter, guys.
